37 & 38 Weeks

How far along: 38 weeks 4 days
Sleep: Horrible, but I know I'm still getting more sleep than I will be when baby boy arrives, so I'm trying to enjoy the sleep I am getting. I have some major sciatica nerve pain and rib pain going on. He loves 2 particular ribs to jam up into. The doctor and I are wondering if he will be long, due to how low he is but how tight is up against my ribs still. We'll see hopefully in week or so!
Movement: Nate gets totally creeped out watching him dance in my belly, but it's one of my favorite things, even if it's getting kind of uncomfortable with some of his moments.

I'm hoping he will make his arrival sometime early next week.  This is the longest I've made it with all 3 pregnancies, so apparently he is pretty comfy and not so anxious to make his debut, unlike Ty and Addi.

Here hoping he'll come in week 39!

Happy 3rd Birthday Addilyn Grace!

Happy Birthday Addilyn Grace Vande Guchte!  Where have the last three years gone?!

Addi just a few hours old....all 6lbs 15oz of cuteness!

Addi you are currently 38.5" (83%ile) and 33.8lbs (78%ile).
You insisted on having a Frozen party. I tried to convince you otherwise (since everyone does Frozen right now) but you were set on being Elsa. So, an Elsa party it was.
Addi loves sprinkle donuts, so my 6am Meijer run included picking up fresh donuts for her for breakfast! She discovered the cake topper, her Frozen cup, and her crown as well. It got her excited for the day!

After naptime it was time to get ready for the fun to begin!
I had not let her wear her Elsa dress prior to her birthday so she was anxiously awaiting the day she got to wear it.

Ty liked to make sure that her train didn't get dirty, apparently to him we have a very dirty house ;)

She'd want you to notice that her braid is going to side, just like Elsa. She insisted on an "Elsa" braid :)

Silliness with Aunt Kara
Aunts, Uncles, grandma, and Bumpa spoiled her!

Frozen light up tennis shoes! She LOVES these!

Not the best smiles, but at least everyone was looking at the camera!

Addi became shy all of a sudden when everyone started singing to her...
Ty tried tickling her to get her to smile

We finally got her to blow out the candle!

Spring Break 2015

With baby boy due soon, we weren't abel to take our usual Florida trip, so it was a staycation for the VandeGuchte family. We did lots of relaxing, but also got to get out a few days and have some fun!

First up was the Aquatic Center with Taylor and Cam. I didn't think they'd last super long, but even after two hours we had to tell them they were closing the pool and it was time to get out! They had a blast!

That day we also decided to decorate Easter eggs!

Easter Sunday.... they wouldn't smile.....
After church they got to go on their Easter egg hunt!

Ty's new bike that he had gotten from my parents last sumer finally fit perfectly. Ty's been excited to try it out and picked up on riding the two wheeler again very quickly.  He has been LOVING going on bike rides.  He is able to go on a "real" bike ride with Nate to the track and through the trails at Helder park. I have a feeling we are going to get good use out of that bike this summer!

He wanted to keep it clean!
Towards the end of the week we made our way to the K-zoo area to see Grandma Pat. She was surprised and I think very excited to see us!

 Friday was Fredrick Meijer Gardens!

Lastly, we made a trip to go check out the Lake at the cottage. Addi at first was quite upset because we weren't "going to the beach" to play and swim....

Overall, it was a nice Spring Break. We relaxed, got the house cleaned, I made a lot of freezer meals in preparation for baby, and actually put baby boys' room together! We are ready for his arrival!

27, 31, and 34 weeks!

So..... a little behind on baby boy posting!  It's only been 12 weeks since I last posted :) I did at least get 3 pictures in since then.  Baby boy is growing and we think we finally have a name!

How far along: 34 weeks - home stretch!

Total Weight Gain: Hmmmm...... and next question....

Maternity Clothes:  Loving leggings, and all maternity. I can make a few of my normal pairs of pants work with the hair tie as long as I wear a long tanktop :)

Sleep: Nate brought up the recliner this past weekend, and I am sleeping MUCH better. Apparently, so is he with a king bed all to himself. :)

Best Moment So Far: Feeling like we finally have a name picked out!!

Movement: Getting uncomfortable. He is head-down and my OB said he should stay that way from now on, which means he loves to give big kicks into my ribs.  At times it completely takes me by surprise and it hurts! Things are getting tight in there!

Heartbeat:  Last appointment was around 130 beats per minute. This pregnancy is also the only one where I continue to measure right on, instead of small as with Ty and Addi.

Belly Button in or out: Half out (if that is possible) and a definite out depending on his position..... lol

How is the nursery looking? Well, we have the crib back in there and I still have lots of things from Addi still sprawled out everywhere.... it's a Spring Break goal of mine to get it somewhat put together.

Crazy to think that this little one is going to be here SO soon!

Winter Randoms

January was swim lesson month!
Addi did well! She was smiling in this picture...haha

This girl became an excellent floater and only needed her head barely held to float!

Ty had his first swim lesson where Nate and I weren't in the pool with him. He did great!!!

Aunt Kelsi's birthday!

 Lots of snow in February!

Fun with their favorite little buddy, Owen!

Addi loves giving him hugs
Sledding fun in March!

Take note, Uncle Andrew behind Ty..... hehe

Visit from a good friend. :)

Most snuggles with Owen so Jess & Ben could have a date night
