It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I love this time of year!  I love all the decorations, the snow, the music, I just love it! Every year the weekend after Thanksgiving we head out to cut down our Christmas tree.  This year, Ty has been much more interested in Christmas, so he was pretty excited to go get our tree.  It was quite cold this year, so we all bundled up and headed out!
Checking out the first snowfall!

Look Mom! Snow!!

Kelsi, Kara, and Addi all bundled up on the ride out to the trees

Ty kept walking around saying, "Where is my cut? Where's my cut?" haha. He loved looking at all the trees!

Ty only wanted to put on the blue ornaments

Big helper this year!

What better way to start the Christmas season than new Christmas pjs and watching Frosty past bedtime!

Just had to take this picture..... this was our lazy morning, mommy making breakfast and the two kiddos watching Baby Noah

Happy Thanksgiving!

As always, we got to spend the Thanksgiving day at Nate's cousin's house.  This year, Ty was the perfect age to check out the farm which they live on!  He was excited to see the cows but I never dreamed how into to helping out he'd be!  Nate's cousin's had waited to do their chores just in case Ty might want to help too!

He'd say, "hay, yummy yummy in my tummy"

Kara and Addi checking things out too!

Ty was on cloud nine running around with his cousins

He even got to feed a cow a bottle!!

Being pulled in a wagon to go check out the sheep

Back at the house, he loved playing with all of Colby and Caleb's toys

Addi was sick and we snuggled an awful lot that day!

Eating junk food and playing cards

A Few Randoms...

I'm a little behind so here is a little catch up!

Two weeks ago my parents made a visit to Michigan, and it was a beautiful weekend!  The weather was amazing and we were able to spend some time walking and playing on the beach. Not too bad for November! :)

What better past time than throwing rocks!

Saturday morning breakfast was pancakes! I asked Ty what he wanted his pancake shape to be, and he responded, "Letter B!" So, he got a letter "B".

Next up, Holiday Open House in Downtown Holland.  We bundled up the kids and got some free hot chocolate, cookies, and snacks :)

Fun Times with Daddy

Addi and Daddy got a day to themselves this week.  Addi has had a fever for the last 3 days which means no daycare.  On Tuesday, Nate got some 1:1 on time with his little girl. This was the video he sent to me at work. Even though she was sick, she was still such a happy girl (for that moment at least :) ).  Addi is so blessed to have such a fun and involved daddy!

Happy Halloween

Ty was looking forward to Halloween, and trick-or-treating, for the last week or so.  He decided that he wanted to be Buzz Lightyear this year and he was very excited to get some candy.  :)  He even was into carving the pumpkin this year, which we were surprised about since he hates when his hands are dirty!  Even though it was only about 40 degrees and windy outside, he still pleaded to always do "one more trick or treat" and Nate and him ended up trick-or-treating for an entire hour!  Jess, Addi, and I joined them for the first 15 minutes and then it was just too cold for Addi so we headed back to hand out candy while Ty and Nate tackled the neighborhood!

All ready to go!

We didn't even have to ask Ty to smile, because he was just SO excited!
